Mrs Healy is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable piano teacher and her goal is to share her passion for music and the opportunities it can offer. Her approach encourages self-confidence in addition to an understanding the piano.
Classically trained, Mrs Healy’s approach to tuition is modern, flexible and patient. She aspires to help her students achieve their full potential in an enjoyable, creative and engaging environment, with an emphasis on lessons tailored to meet individual needs.
She has many years of piano and music theory teaching experience. After successfully completing the Post Graduate Certificate in Education in Music from Hope University, Liverpool in 2018, she taught music, singing, theory, piano and keyboard at local secondary and primary schools in the North West.
Having studied music from a young age, she holds a Bachelor Degree in Piano and Music Theory Teaching. Plays keyboard, the church organ, accordion, and sung in a number of choirs, both at festivals and for pleasure.
As a teacher, she has demonstrated enormous commitment and versatility, leading choirs, preparing concerts, and performing with an orchestra. In addition, she has helped tutor students preparing for exams across a variety of exam boards at GCSE and A-Level.
